I'm late to the party! Lemmie say this first, GalenMereth, I love this plugin especially since I'm very inspired by the Diablo series :D

Question: the square flash when you click-to-move on the map. how do you change this? I'd like to change it to something a little more discreet or subtle. Thanks!

That plugin allows to change it.

Thank you for your effort and time! this plugin was very useful to me  :rock-left: :D  Though I am having a compatibility problem right now because I'm using another plugin to have idle animations (galvs one) and now, when I click somewhere in the scene the character transport itself to that point instead of walking towards it... I was wondering if there's any possible solution to that. I uploaded a video in my tumblr with the problem (see spoiler)

I read through the documentation, and I know that I want to use "click_activate!" to make it so that a player can click on events to activate them, rather than having to press action button while adjacent to them.


How do I use the notetag "click_activate!" in this way?


(Sorry to be a total plugin novice. I have never used any plugins in this way before.)

That is sadly a bit out of scope for this plugin as that functionality is down to the internals of how the default inventory scene and windows work. However this is something I might do as a separate plugin sometime, as I think that'd be a much more pleasant mouse and touch experience for players.


I'm looking into making an addon plugin for this effect. I don't have an ETA on it yet, as there's so much on my plate at the moment.


I'm looking into this. The custom cursors uses CSS to change the cursor into the images, to make it have as close to zero input lag as possible. Animated .gif images are not supported reliably, but there might be something I could do with multiple images / an image strip. I have it on my list, and I'll keep you updated.



Any knews about the addon plugin that will show text (or a label) when hovering over an event? Cheers!

click on the link in first post with mouse right button and select "Save as", then choose your plugins folder and save.

Hello, I noticed that the mouse cursor sometimes, disappears and gives me the default OS, only in full screen mode.
There's a way to fix it?

However, it looks like the Highlight on hover feature doesn't work with the animated title screens plugins. I am currently using the Animated Title Cirno plugin and I still need to click to select (highlight), and then click again to access. Otherwise your plugin works for everywhere else.


 


Is it easy to fix/support? Is there anything I can do on my end to support it (such as adding a line or two of code)?

Quick update: It looks like this is a fix that needs to be done in the animated title screen plugins, not in the Mouse System Ex plugin. @SoulPour777 is fixing it for the Animated Title Cirno one.

For sprite that include two tiles the cursor only changes on the bottom part of the sprite. is there a way to fix that?



This is my only problem with this plugin. Otherwise it's fantastic, but it would be perfect if it offered support for large sprites.

Hi.
Is it possible for you to update the plugin and add the following features:
  1. Menu option to enable/disable mouse
  2. Plugin option to enable/disable mouse as default
  3. Hide the mouse cursor if inactive for several seconds or if keyboard is pressed, so mouse cursor will not distract player when using keyboard.

Hi, this is a great plugin! I'm still trying to understand how it works. Is it possible to record where the player clicks on the map, so that I can send an event to that location? For example, the player presses a key and then clicks on the map. A fire spell is then cast in the location of the click.

Again, thank you for an awesome plugin and thank you for your time!

@Galenmereth HI, there is a problem with custom cursor in plugin now. With new update of RMMV(1.5.0) custom cursor didn't work and can loop project in endless loading. Can you update plugin for new version?

UPD:
I've done some more tests. And cursor is working but sometimes game can stuck in loading screen on startup. Its not always, only time to time and only in playtest, in deployed project seems like all works fine. If i turn off this plugin - project works fine. I think something goes wrong in $._precacheCustomCursors function with new RMMV update.
