Hey!

I was wondering how can I move the sprite of an event. I have a taller than normal sprite (48x96) and when I use it in an event, the bottom 48 pixels fill the tile while the other 48 pixels are in the tile above. I want the 48 pixels from the center of the sprite to fill the event's tile while the other 48 are divided in the tiles above and below the event. I'm using Quasi Movement so I can handle each event's collision box.

Is there anyway to do it? I know there's a script for VX Ace ( http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/4565-sprite-mover/ ) but obviously that doesn't work with MV.

Thank you for the attention!

I've moved this thread to Plugin Request. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

You need to give a more detailed description, or you'll end up with a plugin that does something you don't want.

Especially you need to tell us how you want to handle the collision and the triggering - that is always linked to the event box, and having for example the feet of a humanoid event below the sprite box means that the player has to "step on the feet" in order to trigger the event.

And if the event itself moves on a tile behind a building, the feet will look as if the event is standing on the roof of the building.

And there are a lot of other consequences to moving the sprite bottom away from the event box.

Ok, thank you! I'll edit the post now.

Well - the info that you're using a pixel movement script would be very important for compatibility reasons as well, so make sure to include a link to it - and to any other script you're using that affects movement, collision or sprite display.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
