Basically, the effect you see on the video is my problem. I have got no fps issues, but I still face problems when to comes to moving pictures very slowly. The movement is very jittery and unnatural This is not the only instance (just a recent one), it happens every times.

Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

EDIT: Clarification. The clouds are a Picture with a tweaked Z value. I use the "Move Picture" command to move it. The problem appears whether I have manipulated the Pictures in a similar way, or not.

If you want smooth animation, I would highly suggest using Iavra's Animate Everything script. One of my all-time favorite scripts. Or look into using Planes in your code instead of pictures.

I too would recommend that script by Iavra.  I have also used it for lighting effects e.g. lamps that slowly increase in luminosity then decrease again.  I mention this point because I know you use a lot of lighting effects.

@Exhydra @ksjp17 I am aware of your advice (thank you very much) and I already have downloaded the script.
However, I have a problem understanding how it works, since I haven't used something similar as of now. I'll work on it and post results.

If anybody else has something else to suggest, please do.

If you like, I can pm you shots of my event commands and copies of what I put into the script itself.

@ksjp17 I would appreciate it.

EDIT: The end result still seems laggy and jittery. If anyone knows any other alternatives, please let me know.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
