Hello! I explain what I want to try to do.

I want that when you have an item in your inventory (like a heavy ball) every 500 frames, slow down (to 2, for example) for 300 frames, and the exclamation balloon appears to indicate that you are going to slow down.

I can get it with conditional, but it happens even when I'm not moving. What I want to achieve is that when standing still, the event does not occur, that it only works when the character is moving.

Is it possible to do it through events?

Thanks!

Maybe set up a parallel event that check player's current X and Y position to next X and Y position every 5 frames or so. If they still the same, that means character is not moving but once they are different the character is moving, so run the event you desire then register the next X and Y position as current X and Y and use that to check the next X and Y pos?

I didn't understand very well. I have to do two parallel events, one that checks the X and Y positions and another for when they are different (that is, it is moving) the event works?

EDIT: Or could it be done in steps? For example, that every 20 steps, the event is activated

Was real busy today but I found a few minutes to start on the named cultists and how to give each of them visually distinctive morphology within the confined of the cult robes. I really dislike straight recolors so I trying real hard with the small details on these.
