Hello! I have a moving event (a girl who, after speaking to you, walks to the back of the room and looks at a shelf of books), but depending on the speed of the player, it is possible to end the custom route before she's gotten there! This is because as soon as you talk to somebody else and a certain switch turns on, she has something different to say, and therefore stays fixed.
So, if you get that switch on before she is ready, she could just stop randomly before getting to the bookshelf.
Is there a way to eliminate this?
(Wasn't totally sure if this makes sense, so let me know if you need clarification.)

You could make the player wait while she moves.

I always design cutscenes to play out on cue, without interaction of the player.
saves a lot of headaches.

I'm going to assume the Event (girl moving) is a parallel process? If so try auto.

To all who have replied: I've done some thinking and have found that perhaps it would just be easier to have the custom route at the end of the first event she is set to. The second event, where she basically asks you why you haven't turned on switch 1 yet, would just be "fixed." This way, there'd be no way for her to stop walking too early.
Regardless, thank you for the thoughtful replies! This thread has been resolved.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
