Hello everyone!
I finally decided to get my hands on MV and I am looking forward to messing around with it!
However, I have some questions.
I understand you can "convert" a game to MV from VX ACE but it does not include scripts for obvious reasons. So my question is simply: If I have post a list of scripts/features I am using in VX ACE would you all be very kind and let me know which ones are now built in features, which ones have (I think its java) MV equivalents and which ones I may need too commission?
-SCRIPT LIST Features I use:
Limit break: Allows for the use a limit break system
Summon: Allows me to summon a wolf to battle
EXP bar: Allows for an exp bar in status menu.
TP bar: Allows for a TP bar in status menu
Bestiary: Adds a bestiary to the game, also includes a scan skill.
Animated title screen: allows me to customize the title screen.
Game over options: Allows me to return to title, continue from last save, load a save and quit game.
Game menu settings : Adds a game menu allowing to change settings such as box colour.
Full screen: Allows me to press f5 and go full screen
Difficulty menu: Allows me to pick a difficulty setting at start of game.
Gold icon: Adds a gold icon to the gold in menu
Map display name: I have a script that changes the map name displayed when entering maps into something nicer.
Yanfly save engine + Glav's confirm addon.
Heal at level up
Yanfly victory
pause: allows to pause game
no battle tints: stops tints from carrying into battle
enemy hp bars
Sideview battles
Skill damage bonus: script that allows items to effect skill damage. I.e Ring of healing adds 10% to healing skills.
minimum damage: adds a minimum damage value no matter what so dont get that "null" prompt.
