Moving platforms

I'm making a platformer/RPG in mv and need moving platforms for a level, could somebody please tell me how to do this?

An event sprite seems like the best way to me.

Are you asking for how to make the platform, or are you asking how to make a platform graphic move via eventing? They are very different questions and go in different forums.

I was asking how to make the platform script, i have the graphics. sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I thought for sure I'd already responded to this. Yes, it's the wrong forum. There are a lot of subforums in the Javascript Boards, which one you need to post in depends a lot on what exactly you want. There's a request section for asking someone to do it for you and a different section for getting help learning how to make it yourself. Check the stickies for any more information you might need.
