    Someone else had that issue.  "Right click the image and open it into a new tab, zoom in and re-download. That should fix up the proportions. Saving the image as is, makes it look a little blurry and out of grid. " I hope that helps. ^_^

    I love the detail work, its almost taking me back to older rpgs from the 90s before they went all 3D and lame.

    Hi there,

    Just got these from here and testing them out (just to see what I can do with them)

    When using the cave set I get a graphic issue (see spoiler)

    Edit:

    I kinda fixed it but it was by putting the cliff tiles left of the white line, then laying the black over it again, it got rid of it (attached a photo)

    [IMG]

    If you look on the bottom right corner there is a white line going through the cave wall

    Below is the one AFTER the changes I did as stated in the EDIT:

    Hey. ^.^

    Cave Example copy.png

    Try using the tiles I high-lighted blue in the editor instead when next to walls, they should get rid of the lines you're seeing. Hopefully that helps. :3

    @MrPyramidHead purrrrfect :))

    One last thing, with regards to the water, which one do you use just to lay the standard water down as all of mine I am using seem to have a bit of cliff attached! :3

    Glad that helped. :3

    Haha, also for that, Shift-Key is your friend. Which means you'll have to do abit of Shift Mapping for the water. ;_;

    Use the Shift-Key on those high-lighted blue.

    Thank you for making these. I especially like how you designed the cliff edges so they'd appear more "natural" while also retaining straight-edge tiles for when the situation calls for it. Great work!

    Yeah I agree, thank you very much for these, I have other stuff to do, but I really want to keep mapping with these tiles they are amazing.

    Also if anyone wants it, I think I have the layout for passable/impassive/overhead and what directions each object can have for each tileset if you need them :)

    Really great tile sets, can't wait for more  BD

    As you are apparently quite the expert on all this mapping business… do you happen to know how to get rid of the automatic shorelines the A1 water tiles come with?

    It's really hard to explain…  :distrust:  So have a look at the example picture:

    I want the waterline to be behind the trees (red box), but the automatic shoreline kills the illusion. If it were possible to force a "straight" water edge next to the trees, it would look much better. It's not a problem with placeable trees (like in the upper left corner)… I guess these "tree blocks" are just for creating map borders?

    Still maybe there is a trick?

    @Quite.Toxick You can fix that with shift-click mapping!

    Here's a better explanation, but the long and the short of it is you can right-click on a tile you want to copy, and if you hold shift while placing it, then the tile will be copied exactly. So you can use the adjacent part of the water autotile to put a straight line where the bend starts, then fill in the other parts with pieces shift-clicked from the middle of the water, and it will create the illusion of water going behind the tree tiles. :)  The link is for VX Ace, but the only difference with MV is that you don't have to hold shift when you right-click the tile you want to copy.

    You're all very welcome, thank you for the nice comments. ^_^

    If it's tile-set settings in the editor you need, I can post an example. (If BigToastie doesn't get round to doing it, ty btw.) :p

    @Quite.Toxick Glad you like 'em. I was just thinking up a reply but wintyrbarnes hit the nail on the head. xD That's probably a better explanation then whatever I could throw out. (I suck at explaining things. >.<)

    @wintyrbarnes

    O… M… G… Thank you so much  :D

    Sometimes it's the little things… I guess I should watch a few more tutorials before asking silly questions  :)

    Now… risking another one… wouldn't it be nice if the border trees weren't so ugly?

    Do you know if there is a tile set around, that doesn't have these hard, black shadow edges? And maybe a bit more… fluffy leaves?  :popcorn:
