Hey, guys. I like to do things. Lots of things. Way too many things. Some things I do better than other things. But, I do a lot of things!

Note: This space is currently undergoing construction. I'm going to prettify and organize it so that I may actually use it!

The line-based one is my favourite!

Hooray! I'm glad you posted these together now :)

I really love how dark all of these are, especially the first and last ones. Also, whatever you do for painting hair. I'm jelly.

I remember that you used the girl in the first picture as your avatar, it was your first avatar on this website if I'm not mistaken.

Very nice work btw, I totally approve the dark style. *nods*

Thanks guys. This all means a lot to me as I feel quite noobish in Photoshop most the time.

@ Amy What I've done for my hair, particular in the second one, is I've made some stock hair textures. However you do that is a different story. For this fine, straight hair; I've just done various thin pencil marks. But then I can paste them into the picture and turn them light and/or dark (in this case, both) to create the effect of the hairs standing up from the head in a frizzy fashion, and then painted the base color for the hair underneath those layers, and course shading and added more colors, because I love colors! Even my dark, spoopy pictures use minimal black even if it doesn't appear that way. Did any of that make sense? D:

I've been drawing lately and will post new stuff soon enough to show my progress. But, here are a few more things from my backlog of old doodles.

Some traditional media, but aha, digital charcoal! I did this one to get some practice with my tablet.

And, as some may know. This was my 'pot pirate' battler.

Well, I come here with my first music entry to my art dump.

This is a track I just recently completed for Vexed's game, "The Ironbound Heart"

EVERYTHING is good, but that digital charcoal one is amazing! And of course, as always, the music was fantastic. :)

Let me show you my works sometime... "It looks like a talented 3rd grader made this..."

If that first pic was your FIRST digital painting...wow. that is amazing! Did you do hand drawings before you started digi-paint?

D'aw. You guys. Thank you so much. ^_^

@Philteredkhaos. I did draw and paint by hand. All of my finished canvases are still at my mother's house but I found a scan of a WIP on my Deviant Art account. I never finished it though and would have to travel to go get it back. This was my color plotting with pastels, thinned with turpentine. Not a lot of detail in it, though.

And this a pencil sketch

That got digitally painted into this

So, I thought I'd share a few examples of one the other various art-y-craft-y things I spend my time doing. Arranging flowers!

This is a hand tied vase arrangement. Spring Flowers.

Crescent Table Arrangement

Wedding Bouquet, faux hand tie.

I suppose for my 1000th post I might dust off the depths of my hard drive. The place I normally let no one look at, which are my newbie compositions and arrangements.

But I dunno. Most of these are video game music arrangements. My love of video game music was a large part of my gateway to learning music.

These were done between the years of 2006-2009 between high school and the start of my higher education. At the time I was only focused on learning to compose so I had next to zero production skills. I had none of the tools I do now and hadn't the faintest clue how to edit, so they certainly sound rough. How else would I learn?!  :D

Hey, all! I've been doing a lot of reconstructing and changes to this art dump so that I'll use it again. The reorg is by no means complete, but I've certainly been making a lot of stuff despite the, uh, last time I updated it.

I've done a lot of floral arrangements, mostly for small parties. These are mostly small, hand-tied arrangments. I'd like to do more floral foam bases and showier pieces, but most people want their flowers to be as cheap (understandable) as possible. So, hand tied it is. Ignore the messy backgrounds. I didn' think about it for portfolio purposes. XD

I'm arranging a wedding this spring so that's pretty exciting for me.

I also have the rooooough draft of a song for my main project. In my next version, I'm planning to fill it out with a lot more auxiliary percussion, retool and tighten the accompaniment, and want to take a crack at playing the fiddle and Irish flute parts myself. The project this song belongs to is my baby, so I'm being obsessively picky about the music. Anyway, it's in a pretty rough state but it's not a hot mess.

Thank you for stopping by!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
