Hello!
So this issue is a bit complex and I don't think anyone has asked about this yet.
I work part time at a school and eventually had the idea of offering RPGmaker courses to the students.
It might be a fun project in order to introduce them to basic game design and improve their English skills, as they are still young and not native English speakers.
Now this would come with multiple issues that might be discouraging:
First of, I assume the school would have to buy a copy of RPGmaker for each computer / student.
If there are 10 students, the school may not be interested. Also, the students...
if they can't continue and use RPGmaker at home, their parents don't have the money to buy it, they may find it a bit lame.
In other words, RPGmaker would have to be bought 2 x for X number of students. Are there some special educational offers or something along the line, that could be used here?
For example, if the product could be activated at school and +1 other place, they could pay the money as "course fee" and use the maker at school and at home.
Btw I don't think the school computers support Steam.
