Multi tile event

Hey folks, I'm trying to have an event with a larger graphic that stretches over four tiles. The basic idea is to transform the living camel into a dead one. Here's the original sheet:


I found some advice in older threads to format the sprite like a regular character, but it doesn't seem to work. Here's how I tried to format it:



I also get some weird glitch, since RPGMV doesn't seem to recognize the size of the file.


Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Your camel spritesheet only includes one set of sprites, whereas the default sheets include 8 sets. To fix the issue, simply add a $ to the beginning of the file name. That will solve the selection issue.

Now, if you want the camel to be centered on the four tiles you mentioned, like this...

... then you'll have to add extra space on each of the camel's frames to accommodate for it.

Single sprites are identified by a $ at the beginning of the filename, without that $ all newer RMs assume that the sheet contains 4x2 sprites instead of a single sprite

I'm sure there is a native tool inside the soft to do it, but I dont find it >< ...

There isn't. The engine only does 1 x 1 square collisions. Anything beyond that requires a plug-in.

Also don't post on old threads (over 30 days old in support) as odds are those who posted it are not here or the links are dead.
