Multiple animations per skill

Is there any way to have a skill trigger more than one animation, specifically a hit animation on the target and an activate animation on the user?

I cant see a way of doing it through the editor and all my attempts are writing a script haven't worked.

Can you call common events from within a battle skill?

Plus that would play them in the wrong order.

Yes.

Plus that would play them in the wrong order. 

No animation at all then, but call a common event that shows both in the right order.

Yeh I noticed that after reading that link.

I'm going to need to create a lot of common events. Surely there's a better way of just queuing up animations, I've seen loads of battle systems that show both a cast and hit animation.

Of course.

But you will have to use at least one script for that.

So you can go to the script threads and ask there too. ;)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
