Is there a way to choose which Attack skill an actor uses when it has more than one Attack Skill granted by a weapon or armor.

For example: One of my characters has a weapon (Longsword) equipped which changes the user's Attack skill to the skill "Longsword". This works fine by itself. However, when I equip a piece of armor that also changes the user's Attack skill; the game is defaulting to the Attack skill granted by the armor. Is there a way to set it to always use the weapon's Attack Skill instead of the armor Attack skill? The purpose of the Armor attack skill is for when the character is unarmed. Thanks in advance.

Not in the editor, you'd need code for it (a plugin of whatever complexity, I've never looked at how it's handled).

How actually different are the skills? If it's just a matter of the unarmed damage being calculated differently depending on whether that armor is worn, you could account for that in the damage formula of Attack.

Edit: Looks like if you have multiple attack skills being added, it uses whichever one has the highest skill ID. So if you want the armor to have the lowest priority, copy and paste them in your skills in the database so it has a lower ID.

ATT_Turan, thank you for your reply, I'll be sure to do that. To answer your question: I have a mechanic where the main character can lose their arm, with the possibility of gaining a prothetic later. I have an attack skill for the prosthetic (armor) that is different than normal attack (if the actor is not using a weapon) but want any weapon skill to be used if they are using a weapon.
