Multiple events or not?

Hi

I'm making a house full of event scenarios i know i can do most of them in just one event except one.

The event goes like this:

there is a pentagram on the floor wich triggers floor tiles to appear.

My question is can i make every floortile appear in one event. If yes how? If no what would be the best solution for this?

I would make the map having no graphics at these places that things will appear.

Then I would add events with flood graphics.

Now look.

You can edit the event having multiple tabs (pages).

Each page has conditions.

If an event command switches a Switch to ON, and if you got that Switch set to ON as a condition for page 2 for each of these events, then these events will execute page 2 instead of 1.

On page 2 though, you can have different graphics for the tile ;)

One switch all events changed.

Oh! Make sure these events are below hero to behave as... floor!

And make sure this "transparent" tile is passable.

and about page 2 how can you have different graphics for a tile?

so just make page 2 let it all change at the same time? can you do that too one after another tile? like wait 1 sec and appear another tile wait 1 sec and appear another tile.... ?

Are you saying that you have several different events that you want to become visible at the same time? I'm not sure I'm understanding the question.

And you don't want the floor tiles to be separate events? Or you just want them controlled by one event?

The best thing to do is to use Event Pages and a single Game Switch.

Make 10 or so identical Events.  Give the Page a Condition so that it only appears when a Game Switch is on.  By changing this one switch in one single Event, all of the rest of these Events will change depending on the condition of that switch.

Do you want them to appear one at a time after a time delay?

For example, Tile 1 appears, then 10 sec later Tile 2 appears, etc.

Or do you want them to appear in sequence after some input?

For example, Tile 1 appears, then something needs to happen and then Tile 2 will appear?

Also, are these floor tiles in the same location or in different locations?  In the later case they must be separate events.  If they all will appear in one location then this could be done with a single event (and should be).

Use Tsukihime's Tile Swap script. Don't use multiple events to represent a large image or area.

typo. Sorry. Floor tiles not flood.

You make an event.

It has page 1. You put graphic.

On page 2 you put another graphic.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
