Hello. It's my 1st time posting in this forum, so I'm sorry if this ended up in the wrong section.

I'm currently looking for a script that allows characters to have 2 main classes that can be used simultaneously. I changed the TP system to work like MP (also managed to scale it according to level) and my main idea is basically to make each character have 2 classes, where 1 uses MP and the other uses TP as a resource. Yanfly's class script won't work since it's not for multiple main classes, it's only to create a subclass. I've been looking everywhere for this script with no luck. Anyone can help? Thanks in advance.

I've moved this thread to Script Request. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Scripts is for presenting scripts you wrote.

Such a script might not exist, because your description skips the biggest problem with that idea:

How to calculate the ATK etc parameters.

Are they to be added together? that might cause other problems with the values.

Are they to be taken from one class only? then that is basically Yanfly's class system

Ah I see. I can probably make Yanfly's script work then.

But if I am to use Yanfly's, I wanted to make the 2nd classes available at some point after an event. Is it possible to make events which changes a character's subclass? I don't want to give players an option to change their subclass freely.

there are such options in the script commands, but you need to configure the script correctly to use them.

You can readjust the % of stats carried over from the subclass on Yanfly's plug-in. My plug-in dropped classes entirely when I decided to go single-actor, but I used to make it so that subclasses gave 75% of their total stats to the character. However, the plug-in is limited in that it cannot donate TP to the character.

I see. In that case I'd better just forgo the whole thing entirely, I don't have the slightest clue on scripting. Thank you anyways.

Parameters aren't a concern since I made the parameters for all classes equal. The main purpose of having 2 classes is only for the characters to be able to choose 2 sets of skills, one with TP and one with MP. Thanks for the input though.

Yeah, I just realized I wound up in the VXA forum. Again. >_>

Sorry! I know the MV version of Yanfly's subclass does what you want, but I'm not certain on the VXA version.

Nvm, I figured it out. Scripting events with $game_actors[actor_id].change_subclass(class_id) changes the subclass in events. All I have to do now is disable the class menu. Thanks to everyone.   :D

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
