Alright, so I had put my game aside for a while after working on it for almost two weeks straight, and I had just come back to it today – refreshed and full of ideas. One such thing I wanted to add was a “Jukebox” or “Music Room” sort of feature.
The idea is that you would interact with an NPC/Object , and it would open a Menu Window containing all the music tracks used in the project. Upon first accessing it, all of the tracks would be replaced with ???'s, like an empty bestiary would typically look like.
Hidden in the game – in chests, as rewards, or in shops – are items that once obtained will add a new track to the music room, using a special name defined by the user.
I found two scripts that nearly fitted what I was looking for. The second script was far too flashy for my tastes, and the only documentation was in Portuguese.

This isn't an urgent need so I can wait any period of time – I'm in no rush ^^

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
