Ok...

First off. This is NOT a request thread. I want to try and do this by myself before asking for someone to help

I'm trying to recreate a song that's in public domain on MuseScore to use in a game I'm making, and can't seem to get passed the steep learning curve that is sheet music for someone who has had no previous experience with that sort of thing...

I keep getting pauses where i don't want them, and a tempo that's either too fast or too slow

So what I'm asking is... is there

a) a free program that can help ease someone into such a thing?

or

B) a good website that can ease someone into that sort of thing?

*Musescore has an online handbook to help you, the unwanted pauses are either the result of changing a note value or not pressing the n before placing notes

*This is assuming you are using musecore to recreate the song*

Do you need a crash in music in general (notes, difference between keys, what time signatures mean ect.) or Musescore specifically? While I can help with both my level of expertise will vary.

I can figure out the music part instincually. Learning about pressing n before notes was actually a huge help, and hopefully solved the problem

When I get done with the song, I will post a link to it on this site for people to use.

By the way, is there a way to get a music box sound in MuseScore? That would compliment this song the best

I believe the crotales might work for this (check the show more box and look under the pitched percussion tab.)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
