Hi everyone.

So I'm quite fond of MV as a program and I like the many beautiful tilesets out there. However, I'm simply not a friend of the ubiquitous default Chibi-style sprites, to put it mildly. Is there anyone out there doing something more in the "Western" tradition, somewhat like those below?

I am aware of the Pioneer Valley sprites, but as those are in a completely different style, they only fit the Pioneer Valley resource packs either.

Any help and hints would be greatly appreciated - if it wasn't for this point, I'd probably have a game out by now.

RMMV
You'll likely have to spend money. I've seen other resource styles on sites such as GameDev Market. You can also try commissioning someone, but that might cost you a small fortune, you know, since you need tilesets and what not.

This website has a pretty neat generator, though it's not in the right format for RPG Maker MV so you'd need to put them into place yourself. Also, more than 3 frames, so I recommend checking out the Extra Movement Frames plugin.

Oh man, Ultima False Prophet. Is that an SNES screen grab on the bottom? Loved that game. Let's see, Iolo on the left, Dupre on the right, and is that Shamino on the bottom?
Shamino on the left, Iolo on the bottom. And I have no idea what system that's from. Otherwise, you're right. Loved that game, too...

I would very much like to continue using the available MV tilesets. All I'm looking for are sprites with somewhat normal proportions, not ones which literally have eyes bigger than their stomachs.

Hmmm. That's at least an improvement. Will have to try that out. Thanks for the direction!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
