MV interface scaling issue

Greetings!

I am having a problem with the scaling of MV's interface on my Surface Pro 4 which has a very high resolution and PPI (2736x1824 at 267 PPI).  The interface, menus, etc are way too small to read and interact with.  It appears that MV is not respecting the display scaling setting in Windows 10 (or at least mine isn't).  If it matters, I am using a version I bought off Steam.  Is anyone else having or had the same problem and is there a solution?

I'm using the same resolution and MV looks fine for me, but then again, I'm using Windows 7. The setting to use XP's DPI scaling is unchecked for me.


It seems someone has this to say about adjusting DPI for an individual program:

You can go to the app, run the compatibility troubleshooting, select display, and it will detect the problem, once you select it, it will auto-fix the DPI for that specific APP.

You could maybe learn a bit of the nature of the problem there at least. It also helps if you want to contact the support through the main site, which I did. I got the following response:

"Thank you for contacting RPG Maker Support and for your report! I will forward this to our tech team and see what kind of solutions we can work up. I do apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime". This was sent to me exactly a month ago. Nothing has happened since. I'll try to answer it now and see if there's anything new. I'll let you know if something happens.

Thanks, I did read your thread before posting here which set my expectations low that there was a solution.  I'll send in a support ticket as well, maybe they need X amount of complaints before it becomes a priority.
