I had to reset my PC and lost my project and all of the backups. Does MV save to the steam cloud?

There are no automatic backups - the only way to get your project into the steam cloud/workshop is if you tell it to upload there.
That is due to the fact that MV-projects are too big for the steam cloud - we got a lot of bad experience when that feature was automatic on Ace (most people finally disabled steam cloud for Ace) and as such it was not set to automatic when MV was developed.

If you don't have any external backup and can't undelete the data on your computer, then your project is probably lost.
There is a reason why we always tell everyone to make backups...

I made a backup, but just to my PC. Heh. Second time this has happened. Oh jeez. Luckily I may be able to recover it if the problem is just with windows and not my hard drive.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
