MV To VX Ace RTP

    Here is a conversion of the battlebacks, characters, facesets, tilesets, titles, and system graphics of the MV RTP (that are of known use and utility for VX Ace) for use in Vx Ace by anyone who would like to use the MV RTP graphics in VX Ace.


    This resource pack may be downloaded from the below GitHub link and requires the user have a legal license to RPG Makers MV and VX Ace, copyright to Kadokawa and Enterbrain respectively.


    I need no credit for this, but I would appreciate any feedback.

    It's the default MV RTP resized, anybody can do it.

    Ah, okay.  But don't you have to own mv to use its rtp?

    ... Indeed, anybody can, probably many did, but it's still time consuming and no one else did and shared it...


    Also this guy contacted the Staff, in order to have clarified legal terms of usage. (which answer proton's question, yes you need it)

    Is there a Vx Ace RTP already resized for MV that you know of? Specifically the tiles.

    Just to let you know, there's a mistake with the battlebacks. They were resized to 560x414, instead of 544x416, which is VX Ace's proper resolution.

    I'm aware. I tried to size them exactly, got some weird compression artifacts, so I went for the closest approximation instead.


    They actually work well enough regardless, though some look a little strange in the troops preview window, but in-game, they look more or less fine.


    I'll see if I can try running them through another resize and enhancement at a later date and see if I can't get better results.

    I noticed a small white space above them in-game, and certain ones such as the town ones look weird when mixed and matched with VX Ace battlebacks.

    Battlebacks are actually better when they're bigger than the default window so that screen shake effect will not result to showing black bars when used...

    Okay, they are reuploaded, only this time with an added 10-20px both horizontially and vertically to prevent the black bars problem when using the shake screen command.

    Hey, just figure I would let you know that this is amazing. I am having one problem though. Whenever i use the roof tilesets i get these wierd squares. How do i fix this?[​IMG]
