My Danny Phantom Sprites!

Hey guys, I really wanted to share the fruits of my labor for my Danny Phantom rpg maker project “Ghost Stories.” Some of these are actually ones I already made before, such as Danny in ghost form, Vlad, and Jazz, but the rest are all new! If any of you have RPG Maker VX Ace and want to make a Danny Phantom fan game feel free to use these as long as you credit me as SecretSigil (Wanted to change my username here to that but the name change hasn't gotten approval) where I posted them on Deviantart.

Got some more Danny Phantom resources to share with you guys! Tested a flying version of Danny in his ghost form as a way to make other ghosts and also a Ghost Portal. Now that my username has been changed to match my Deviantart account where I'll be posting all these too, please remember to credit me as "SecretSigil" if you use any of these!

OMG that one took forever since I had to make the swirl move a little by turning the image as the doors open and lining it all up using other door/gate spritesheets as a reference. It was worth it though!

Do you use photoshop? You can use layering to do the two seperate animations and than copy paste the individual frames, and then use clipping layers to cut off the parts behind the closing gates!

I use GraphicsGale for pixel art to retain transparency but its still tricky making sure it all lines up. I used Sai Paint Tool to resize a portal swirl I had already made before.

Oh I see. I haven't used GG for over a decade now?
I remember in my earliest game maker games I'd use it to try to draw my own character animations like centaurs and monstrous porcupines, don't even remember if layering was utilized or not. It's been so long. But good work nonetheless!

You can also use video editing software to put different animations atop of one another via separate tracks.

Have you thought about doing any Ghost Zone tiles?

Hmm, well I've made a few custom assets before for a previous Danny Phantom fan project but I never considered making any for the Ghost Zone. I might just have to do that now since you brought it up. Most of these sprites I made above are for a fangame called "Ghost Stories" which I'll probably need to rename that's more about an older branch of the Guys in White doing human experiments and about tying traditional elements of paranormal investigation into the show. But yeah I think I'll try to make some tilesets for the Ghost Zone itself when I get the chance since that would be really interesting! If I do I'll be sure to share them here and on my other social media.

After getting some help figuring out the alignment issues I was having I made some Ghost Zone doors! They're not perfect but all things considered since those doors come in many styles depending on the ghost I just went with a basic door style.

I made some test doors before but they were the wrong shade of purple and a bit ugly so I remade them from scratch. The new one is a bit too bright but eh it's the Ghost Zone, things are weird there. As usual, feel free to use these and remember to credit SecretSigil in your project!

I also figured out a way to add a ghostly aura to their sprites so here're Danny and Vlad's! Also, I gave Plasmius a pink aura to help him stand out since he's already wearing so much white, fixed this collar too.
