Hello everyone, thank you for taking your time.

So I bought these POP! Horror packs, started a new fun project and I'd like to use the included font "POPit",

because I really really like it and the style on this image:

POPit.jpg

But there's the problem: It's so small that I had to increase the font size in Yanfly's Core Engine from the default 28 to at least 44 so that it doesn't look misplaced.

Like this:

POPit 1.jpg

Vanilla.

And now the game looks like this:

POPit 2.jpg

Font size at 44.

I don't even know what to do and this forum helped me so much last time I got in trouble.

Thanks for you help. :)

Bump. Having this problem too. Is there some way to change the width of the 'Options' window?

I have this issue as well ... it also affects the name window feature of Yanfly Message Core (I wanted to use it but I chose not to since the names were always half cut off).

It would really help if someone would show screenshots of the plugin configurations and the events themselves - we can't even guess where the problem originates from  screenshots like these alone. It also helps to tell which version of the core files your project had been updated to.

The problem is just that the choices window is formatted for the default font size of RMMV, but if you make the font any bigger with Message Core the choices don't fit right in the window anymore (like in the screenshot).
I'm wondering if there's a plugin that can change the size of the choices window. Or at least a way that the font size change won't affect the text in the choices window.

Also I'm using v1.15 which is the latest.

I'm 1.3.1 on RMMV and here are my plugins. The events where this occurs is therefore the Show Text event.

Does RM usually expand text windows when you increase the regular game font with Yanfly's message core? If so, then could it be that somewhere in the game's main .js file we just need to tinker with the name of the font that is being called to trigger the expanding text windows?

To display that font at that size you also need to adjust the Line Height in YEP_CoreEngine or the Show Choice options window will appear like that. Without stretching the windows or cutting off text in windows these are the settings I used for that particular font.

Ah-ha! So the solution was in Yanfly's core engine.

Thanks Azahoth, you're a gem!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
