NOTE: This was my very first project from my earliest years of this wonderful website. Changes have been made, especially the title, world, timeline, setting and most of the characters. Concept remains the same.
STORY
In the year of 1866, Holy Church Alliance had fought against The German Sovereignty and thwarted their conquest for world domination. Germany lacks of any faith of the Power of Grace, but their Technological advances and military might has become a force unlike any other nation and nearly crushed the Alliance as well as the Messiah Knights within the Order. A small group of heroes led by the Messiah Knight, Michael Raehart had continuously defeated the Germans, but both nations had suffered greatly and thus ended in a stalemate. Michael Raehart was known as Hero of the Messiah German War, however Michael had vanished on the day the war ended and is believed to have fallen in battle.
6 years have passed, in 1872 a young boy of the age of 13 sets foot into New York city on his very first assignment as a Knights Squire. His name is Vance Raehart, son of Michael Raehart. Joined the order shortly after the Messiah German War with the ambition to find not only follow in his fathers footsteps, but to discover the fate of his father. In his journey Vance will soon discover that Knights not only have responsibilities bestowed upon them, but also carry a great burden that is difficult to carry. However thanks to his friends and allies, he wont be alone.
before i get into the characters and stuff, here are some clarifications for people who are curious about some things
What are Messiah Knights and Grace?
every human has a certain amount inner power known as grace. In the world of My Messiah, this a form of magic that varies at birth and manifest in a physical form mostly at the age of 5. People who have enough to Grace to be efficient in certain areas of combat or uses outside of normal life can train to become a Messiah Knight and wield a Knights Raiment. Messiah Knights are also known as "saviors" and its a sworn duty for all knights to protect the innocent with the cost of their own lives.
Knights Raiment?
The Knights Raiment is one the primary abilities for those who have the power of grace. people can shift certain parts of their body into armor that not only increases speed, power and combat efficiency, but gain more abilities based of the nature of their grace.
What do you mean by "Nature of Grace"
The power of Grace has comes in almost endless forms. its not just the Elemental Differences, such as Fire, water, Ice, Lightning Etc. his an example of a Grace power. Blue Fire, multiple people can have Blue fire and can even different from another if not unique to another Blue Fire user. more will be explained in the future.

Personality/background: Very Docile and mostly depressed, due to fact that while his father was at war, he watched his mother and sister become brutally murdered in front of him. though it has haunted him for years he has proven to be very skilled and has faith he will bring justice to the people who murdered his family. He continues to be a star example to the other pilgrims as his superiors have high hopes for him.

Age 13. Grace Power: Sharp Winds Personality/Background: Vances Best friend. he often flirts and asks women out on dates rather they be the same age as him or older. His positive attitude his Happy Go-lucky nature always puts Vance at ease. he even tries to hook Vance up with other girls despite Vances Objections and lack of interest. He also aims to be part of an Elite group of Knights known as the Dragoon Vanguard, just like his father who is the leader. Often Ignored by his father as he seems to think his son is unworthy, despite that he strives to work hard and hopes to be accepted or at least acknowledge by his father.
Michael Raehart

Age: 37 Grace Power: ??? Personality/backstory: Father of Vance and hero of the Messiah German war. Despite him being a war hero and holding the title of one of the Four Ark Angels, he does not call himself a man of god. Highly respected for his skill and combat abilities, his attitude towards most people can be sarcastic at most and sometimes in a vulgar manner.

Messiahs Journey (game mode): for a better roleplaying experience. after release of this game, in future i planned to patch the game for an alternate game mode. start your own journey like Vance and others before him. pick an origin city to start as a Knights Squire, then work to become Messiah.(this is something i want to do for this game. depending on the feedback from the final release, i may add it.)
