I've just topped off the first draft for my test project's plugin list in RPG Maker MV, where it's nothing but test events to see if anything breaks - I wanted to start off with a relatively stable foundation before building my first game, which is going to be a big one because it's also for my professional resumé as a writer/director (I'm going to keep myself well-rounded for stage/TV/film/video games, to widen my reach for pro gigs in the future - it's a tough job market). I'm not in any particular pressure to speed things up, but I do like being organized and efficient when it comes to workflow.
Before anyone says I could just start small, I'm aware of that but I already have a story in mind and I'm committed to it as an artist, and the future pro gigs as a writer/director that I want are large scale projects. The writing and game design are not an issue - as long as the engine does what I need it to, only unexpected health problems or death will stop me from finishing the game within the scope of my personal vision. *prays for the meteor to wait at least a few years before colliding with the Earth*
That said, I've taken some screenshots of my current plugin list and decided to share it with the community. The community has helped me save a lot of time and trouble with tips and suggestions in the forum archives along with the javascript wizards' work in making plugins, so thank you all very much.
It's just a first draft and I'm probably less than 20% done testing them all, but atm it seems stable (I've got test events set up for battles, vehicles, weather, dialogue, etc. and will have to make more). I'm probably going to keep most if not all of the current list for my game. If anyone sees a bugged combo or broken arrangement feel free to point it out.
