My Project won't open!

Huh. Loaded RPG Maker, but now for some reason, when I load Game.rvproj2, both from File Explorer and from the Open menu on RPG Maker, nothing happens. Litterally, nothing.. All my other projects work!

I've tried replacing Game.rvproj2, but nothing happens!

Please help!

Edit: I am using the Steam version of RPG Maker VX Ace,

Also, the game plays from Game.exe perfecty fine.

Edit 2: It seems to work if I load it from the Manage Projects Window, but i'd prefer it if it actually worked from the Shortcut.

Steam cloud causes some strange problems to occur in rpg maker.

Do you have a project with the same name, but is actually a different project?

edit:  did you try replacing the RGSS300.dll with one from a project that works?

Not in the same folder no, but my Project is currently called 'Project1', so that might be an issue . I'll try giving it a name.

There was another RPGVXAce proccess running in Task Manager, but there was no window (Guess it didnt close properly). So I ended that proccess,, and it worked!

It doesn't matter which folder it is in.  If two Project1 games were created, one of them will behave weirdly (and may not even open).

Create a new project with a different name and transfer all files over (except Game.ini).  That should fix it.
