I don't know what happened or what I did different. When I enter this town (name's Yora), it starts giving off this weird rapid vibration sound, as if something is constantly hitting a "no" command set to a low pitch. That's the closest comparison I can give you. None of the other towns do this. I checked the events and there isn't a lot of parallel processing going on. In fact, the area below it has more events acting parallel to the player, but nothing's wrong with that! Has anything happened like this before?

My game is fairly close to being done and I don't wanna release it with this bug in the game...

So you enter it from the world map, then it repeatedly buzzes non-stop? And the event that transfers you in has nothing there? It sound like a parallel process is running somewhere to do this. o_O

A parallel process with Change BGM or Change BGS that doesn't get erased afterwards.

That's just it though. Nothing has changed since I finished making the town. It just starting doing it at random! I entered the town today and I was like "What the heck?!" It was working just fine this morning...

Does it happen if you put the starting point IN the town? If so, if you can zip up your project and load it up, I can grab it and take a look. Or if you can include a save file when you're in the town and the issue is happening - as long as I don't have to play for 10 minutes to get to the problem (or even 1 minute).

Yes, it does happen when I start in the town as well... Also, apologies, but I'm have been unable to send anyone anything regarding my game. The file is just too big to upload through things like email and whatever.

Actually, could that be the problem? The game is just so large that stuff begins to break? I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but I'm just trying to figure it out...

Also, the sound does not play if a menu or speech bubble is open. It's as if the sound is playing above the main music. Even if I minimize the window, the regular music will keep playing without the "vibration," but when I hit resume, it starts the annoying noise again. Even getting rid of the music all together doesn't do anything...

I have an event that transforms the player into something different when you step on a certain tile. When the event is active, the annoyance does not play. But when you change back to normal, it resumes. It seems the game does not like the main player. Haha... oy...

dropbox?

Can you just copy that one map and all your audio resources into a new project and see if it still does it? If it does, it's not because of your project size.

What scripts have you added? If the vibration stops when the window loses focus, maybe it's an SE or ME that's playing and not a BGM. Do you have any animations happening on your map that are repeating? Animations can have a SE.

Okay! I figured out the problem! There's this Dog SE that, for some reason, is set on repeat. How do I fix that?

EDIT: Gah! Nevermind! For some reason I had it set to Parallel Process as well! Wow, that was stupid of me... Sorry!

Delete this topic or consider it solved or whatever. I don't think this needs to be here any longer... Again, so sorry for the inconvenience...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
