Extension is definitely not away from anyone. If you finish the game earlier than others, there's still plenty to do. Testing, bug fixing, balancing, polishing, getting the project proofread, etc, etc...

Change of deadline is not given from anyone's request either or to favor anyone in special. Archeia has valid point for the extension as many, who are developing the contest entry, face this same issue.

It is also more pleasant for judges to get honed games to play (there is the minimum length there, so it is not 5 minutes per game to test). \o/ Please do your best, we have human rights too, you know. ;w; Seriously though, I'm excited to see what you all can do.

Just curious, are there any rules as to how thoroughly the mystery is solved? I'd like to leave some ambiguity and a few unresolved details in case I choose to revisit the concept for a full game.
