MZ character generator

Hello!, I am new to RPG MAKER MZ and I would like to know how I can add accessories and clothes or if there is a character generator that someone has already made for MZ and where I can find it. I really have a lot of faith in this show and I know I can do something great.

I am also interested to know. Based on my research, I don't think there are a lot of options tailed for RMMZ.

I know there's SRD character creator EX and a bunch of generator parts for MV, but resources do seem to be scarce for MZ.

For walking sprites, I use the VisuStella Character Generator.

For character busts, I use some visual novel generator found on Japanese websites.

Being inspired by SigmaSuccour, I also spent some time using VRoid assets in game. Very fun and frustrating at the same time.

there are tutorials on this forum that explain how to do so, just search for them.

Because you NEED those tutorials. Adding a new part to the character generator is not simple, you need to know exactly how to name (or rename) any part so that it fits into the generator.

Hi @Yeipii, please do not use blue or red text in your posts. These are reserved for moderator use only so our posts stand out more. Using so many colors and formatting (different fonts, bold, underline, italics) also makes your post harder to read, and there is no reason for highlighting any of those words in your sentence. Make it easy for others, and remember there are a few different forum skins and your post may be unreadable for some when you ditch the default formatting/colors.


Re your post - MZ comes with a character generator. Is there something wrong with it? Or are you asking for something that will let players customize their own character in-game?

For what it's worth there's always Hiddenone's massive MV Resource pack you can use to get a jump start. Just be warned that not everything converts perfectly to MZ so some parts you'll either need to edit yourself or hope the minor adjustment index added in MZ generator is enough to move the parts (usually eyes the biggest issue) in the appropriate places. Link will be at bottom of this post.

In order to use the beast parts, you'll have to swap the normal body part (be sure to make a copy of it so you don't lose it later) with the custom beast part and swap back and forth w/e you want to make humans again.

In short, there's 5 different categories that makeup the character generator which is as follows: Face, SV, TV, TVD & Variation. You'll need to find or create all 5 parts and put them in their respected folders in order for everything to work perfectly.
