Looks super cool! Not a fan of having to kill the monster before I can get out of the room, though... unless it's a boss. But that could just be a genre thing I don't get, haven't really played a lot of Zelda games before. Otherwise, though, I really hope you guys will make a bomb of a game!

Hey thanks for the comment/feedback!

Not every dungeon room with enemies will lock you in. There will be rooms where you can avoid enemies to progress. This was more so for demonstration purposes. Cheers!

Yeah, Ocarina of Time meets A Link to the Past is pretty accurate xD

We definitely have our unique feel to the game but if we can bring in a little bit of zeldalike nostalgia, I’d say we did our job!

Beautiful! I really like the gameplay a lot and it really has a lot of zelda vibes, wich is a good thing! :D Can't wait to play it! I think you could add some more details to the mapping though ;)

So, do you have everything spaced out in sectors and just teleport to the next sector or is it just various Maps?

It does have that Zelda MC vibe tho!

The overworld is being designed to eventually be around 100 connected maps with various regions/biomes.

Not always, Zelda 1 and 3 are both open worlds despite being lots of different maps.
Zelda 1 was but not LTTP and later titles.
The Game Boy Zelda was various maps due to the limitations of the game boy tho.

Well that just makes me question your definition of an open world, but probably not appropriate tangent for this thread.

This is awesomeee specially when i saw a lot of different plugins you must've put alot of effort of modifying it making it compatible to each other. YOUR GAME IS AWESOME HAHA!

On the "things im remaking" department even i kept getting confused by my status grenades similarity so i decided to redo both of them, now the icons and being thrown animations are very distinctive from each other :kaopride:

I genuinely like the default MZ actor sprites, and the character creator. I think I will draw new headshots for them, but part of me doesn't want to replace the default sprites. But should I? I want to eventually release my game.
Someday, I hope they make a game where 95% of the animation budget went to turning valves and opening door animations, leaving every other animation looking like a CDI zelda cutscene.
