I'm using Theo Allen's name box script, but there is a bug where the name box window shows in dialogue, even when I'm not typing in the tags. I can't find any clear or refresh command meant to be used to solve this in the script, so any help with this would be appreciated! I've attached an image so you can see what I mean. Thank you.

According to the code, it should hide itself if the text for the namebox is empty (so it is "" ).

Try to set it to that, see if it still shows up or not.

No idea how do change the text for it, but I'm sure that you know, after all, you are using the script, right? :p

Hey there! Thank you for your help!

I tried to type in "", but it just shows up as quotes in the scene; I also tried leaving it blank completely, but then two brackets show up instead.

    The name tags are used like this;

    \NBL['Name']

    \NBR['Name']

(For the box to appear on the left or right side of the screen respectively.)

    I tried

    \NBL[""]

    And

    \NBL[]

I see that it uses a setting from the script itself if you enter a string in those brackets which is present in the script's setting.

And there is one named as "cls", which would return an empty string, and that should make your name box disappear.

So, try to enter one of these:

    \NBL['cls']  or  \NBR['cls']

I did not test this, but this should work, I guess. If not, I will make you a script call to get rid of that pesky name box. :D

It works! Thank you so much! I think it was a dummy name in the script itself that I deleted by accident. (I thought it was just an example, lol.)

    You're amazing~!
