RPG Maker VX was freshly released & dream inspiring.

About Me :
I've went through spells of game creation, & with that, spells of forum activity.

I made one playable demo.
Which I can find & provide as reference.
Which showed a basic understanding for mapping, plugin use & editing, & eventing.

My weakest areas are probably mapping & database management.
Leveling/stat curves.

But I have a particular interest in finding teammates for game creation.
Mappers, Spriters, & Co-Developers.

@B34RxJ3W Sir Walter Scott would approve of your verbiage! I'm still learning on my end, but every question I come up with has been handled with a little bit of google-fu so far. Best advice I can give is to look through the stickied topics, a lot of questions can be answered in those.
