Need help avoiding 100+ parallel events

I posted another thread about trying to make a falling platform puzzle. For the most part that's done. Player jumps on the platform, it shakes, then falls whether they're still on it or not.

Now my issue is making this work for every platform on the map, since currently the parallel process is all tied to a single platform (because there are so many references to the specific xy coords of the platform), and obviously it would be terrible to have ~100 parallel events on the map.






How can I make this work? I've been at this for over a week now and would really appreciate any help I can get!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
