Hi, good programmers I currently made my own RPG as we all here do, and I desperately need help for the battle system programming because of my lack of knowledge in this area. The game I currently made is titled : Clash of The Ancient Souls - Prelude here's the synopsis (if you care to read) .. 235CA, humanity finally decided to fight the Dragons's reign of terror. Under the kingdom of Conisia, humanity can fight equally against the Dragons. As human have the upper hand, Prince Alexei of Conisia notice that there's something more dangerous than the Dragons. It was dark and mysterious, devouring lives like black hole swallowing the stars. They call it "Fomalhaut". Last time it came, an inteligent race centuries ago went extinct, leaving records behind so someone in the future can be warned on what's going on. So Human and Dragons join forces to fight for their lives and their home, Adamos. But the record said that Fomalhaut cannot be stopped... Here's battle system I would like to use. Generally it's probably like Breath of Fire 4, just more simple. what I will need in this battle system : 1. Battlers type I will use still full-body illustration for the battlers, so it will not use animation, just have to shake it when it's damaged and change color upon status ailments, and greyed when K.O 2. formation there will only maximum 4 characters in party. Special case for class Guard, when this class is in party, he will stand in front of the entire group and tank all the physical damages. 3. Transformation here's the most important part of the game. as described in synopsis, the actors might join dragons to fight. so they can transform into dragon they attached to. but some dragons will have different types. for example, savage type will transform randomly (uncontrolable) and went berserk and nutrien type will just give their human extra buffs. most popular type are omni type, they can be transform in command.
