Basically the more TP the character gains the less damage the character does think of it like fatigue and the way to reduce TP is by using the guard command that its done in % due to TP can only ever go to 100 so at 100 you would be fully fatigue and do 0 damage.

As for reducing it that is where guard command comes in it will also provide a buff for 2 turns for the class primary stat that can be stacked two times as for reduction in tp it would reduce it by 25 thus using it 2 times will reduce it by 50%.

I will be changing the name TP to something to represent fatigue.

The problem i have though is i cant seem to work out what the formula was...

Have you tried simply substract TP in damage formula? As you said:
"the more TP the character gains the less damage the character does"

so for example:
Code:
``(a.atk * 2) + (a.level * a.mat) - a.tp``
Should do

i believe the TP is i recall had like 0.005 or something as a percentage value but i cant seem to think for the love of me what it was.

If TP at 100 makes you do 0 damage, it would have to reduce damage by 1% per point:

var dmg = (a.atk * 2) - (a.level * a.mat); var tpMod = dmg * 0.01 * a.tp; dmg - tpMod

I worked it out god my head hurts so much dealing with that (a.atk * 3 - b.def) * (1 - (a.tp * 0.010))

Thanks for the responses in future i should really log all this stuff down.

Glad you got it figured out. Mine does the same thing just in a slightly different way.
