I need some help. I am trying to figure out a way to disable certain battle command actions during my games tutorial. I want commands to be temporarily disabled till a command is given to use that particular command.

Example: I want the player to attack and no other command can be chosen in the tutorial until otherwise stated to do so.

The Command Manager allows you to add conditions to your commands for whether they should be disabled or not

You can condition them on switches. For example, if you add below the Command Manager

class Command_Attack < Game_Command  alias :th_tutorial_conditions_usable? :usable?  def usable?(user)    th_tutorial_conditions_usable?(user) && $game_switches[1] == true  endend
You can disable the "attack" command if switch 1 is off.

I am a complete fool. I went through the trouble of making a clone sprite and setting up a system to have the characters flash, when it turns out - I never noticed that the "._mainSprite" was the actual bitmap being used. I'm happy since that makes compatibility easier, but I also want to scream.

Wondering how to force a Save State in VNMaker with a name and how to call it with a scene event in order to double check if this Save State exists or not. Phew... Leaving breadcrumbs for chapter DLCs to pickup would be more than half the fight in order to finish this visual novel :LZSsad:
