Hi! I'm new to RPG Maker, but even so i started a little project to make a small visual novel based on a story that i'm writing (Since most people don't care about reading more than 50 pages of stuff). The demo of the project it's almost  complete and it's working pretty fine with only one little thing that's happening. The demo have 9 endings, but to get to the last 5 endings of the game, you have to do the other 4, each of then activate a switch to ON. When all switches are ON, things works great (Confirmed it using F9). But there's a problem: After pressing "New Game", the switch always turns to OFF, even with scripts that promised to save switches between new games. None of then worked. I tried to do one of my won, but, it dint go very well. So, i'm hopeless. If anyone knows the answer to this trivia, please, help me! I will be very grateful!

Which scripts exactly? and have you actually made sure that you set them up right?

100% sure, read the instructions and put them in the "Materials" section.

That is not always the entire "setup" - some scripts require configuration settings inside the script, like telling them which switches to save (they don't automatically save everything, because that is usually not wanted).

There are several ways to solve your problem, for example one of the "new game +" scripts from the master script list, or the persistent data script from one of the ReStaff Releases would also be able to save data.

That is a new game+ script... What it does is carry over info from a save file, once you choose the new game+ option in the load menu... Using the default New Game option doesn't invoke the script...

To do it using the default New Game option, what you'll need is the Persistent Switches script (if I recall the name correctly)...

this one use variable. but you could adapt that to your game. just change the switch to variable instead:

Don't use google, the masterlist might yield better results... though you can keep using Yanfly's script, and force players to use the New Game+ option, though using the Persistent script is better

It is a script problem since it involves using scripts...

Did you find the persistent thingy script?

Yeah, but it isn't exactly what i wanted. It's great to make items go back to the same place, but couldn't found a way to make it work with switchs or variables.

That is for map events... Look for Persistent Switches, I think Fomar was the one who made it... if it's not added to the ML, just search for it here

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
