need help with some scripts

known errors:

Yanfly Engine Ace - System Options -> works but Galv's menu does not allow the script to use its full settings.

 Yanfly Engine Ace - Ace Skill Menu -> not fully sure if its working or not

Kread-EX Skill Upgrade -> not sure if its working or not

For example, what does this mean?

Which settings precisely appear not to work with Galv's menu?

Why do you think that the other two are not working correctly?  Just saying that you're not sure if they are working or not gives no one any idea of what to suggest.

You could, for instance, give an example of something you thought you should be able to do, but which doesn't happen.  As it is, you could be referring to anything.  And even if you tried another site, no one there would be any better at slipping through the internet to look at what's happening on your computer.  You have to tell us, or show us with screen shots.

wrong, nowhere in the topic you asked a specific question or told us what specific problem you have.

Just listing scripts with vague comments about which you aren't sure yourself does not tell us what problem you have with those scripts.

If they don't work, you can tell us what exactly doesn't work. If you don't know what a problem might be, then that says us that they are working correctly simply because you found no problem with them.

no screenshots would help since this isn't something that could be seen. how about this why don't you go put all of the scripts that i listed and try it your self because i'm not sure how much clear i can make this. i can try but odd's your just going to say its not enought. but here go's nothing. galv menus change seems to be blocking some of the menu changes the yanfly. with yanfly's party script its suppoes to have a party menu when you enter the party/formation button but but the galv's much change is preventing that fomr happening. the same this happens with the system options menu. this is suppoes to change the end game butten. instead of going to the menu that yanfly makes. it go's to the default end game options.as for the damage counter i'm just going to repost the the error becaues thats what keeps popping up. MOG - Combo Count -> works but has randome error's [ Script 'MOG_Combo_count' line 194: RGSSError occurred. disposed bitmap ]

this is the line -> @combo.bitmap = Bitmap.new(@combo_image.width,@combo_image.height)

there i hope thats better becaues if not you have to use them yourself

same thing i told ksjp17. if you still don't understand then use all the scripts i listed and try them for yourself

You are the one asking for help, and no one here is under any obligation to give that help. Not even those who are employed by Degica, because no one is paid for forum work here.


Basically you're asking us to use our own free time to help you work on your game, when we could spent that time on our own projects instead.


As a result the minimum expected from everyone who wants that help is to do everything possible to explain that problem to us.


If you really believe that it's neccessary to see those scripts in work to solve that, then give us a working project with them - but NEVER expect anyone here to waste half an hour of time to put a project together before its even possible to look for your problem.


And even after you have put that project together, we can expect you to give a list of what doesn't work.


Something short and descriptive like


- the party formation screen cannot be accessed


- yanfly'd system option button ends game instead of bringing up the option screen

ALWAYS do everything possible to reduce the workload for those you want to help you, and NEVER expect them to do simple, preparing work just to find the bugs.

and yet you fail to under stand that i don't know any of this. i don't yet it. yeah i understand people are not lined up to help like its customer support center. but by the kind of reply's i'v been giving you should have thought known that i wasn't understanding. i'm going to try this and just send the file. i'm not trying to get on anyone's nerves or anything but you have to see this from point of view. if i could do this my self i would but i can't. so i ask for help.
