Hello, I'm very new to RPG Maker and first of all I want to apologize if I put this in the wrong section. But I've been looking everywhere and still can't understand how the animation works.

Is the spritesheet used for the default SV Battler animation limited to what it is?

What I mean by that is, is it possible for me to expand the spritesheet and add my own custom animations and if I cast a skill (for instance), the battler do the new custom animation?

I've seen multiple videos where the battler do custom animations that lasts more than 3 frames (the default frames the spritesheet used if I'm not mistaken) and I'm thinking on how to achieve that.

You can replace the existing frames with anything you want. If you want more frames in the sheet you’ll need to find a plugin.

Making his first game
This scene was suppose to be a test... but now, it's going in the game as official side/optional content. :kaosalute:


functionality(This is function demo not game demo)
1 The door of ABS map can open upon clearing all the monsters
2 Secret room/road arrow/lighting/whatever others can be shown upon clearing too
3 Boss HP bar and loot effect, loot jump and item name color as well as the pick-up animation effect
4 Back to town and "victory aftermath" screen for ABS maps/rooms
