Hi, i'm currently using Yanfly Battle Command list, which helps me customize the battle command menu. However, i have problems adding new command to the battle command window. Does anyone know how to do it? I'll be glad if you can help me with this, thank you.
For your information: i'm making a Persona fangame project. I was going to add a new command to the battle command menu which is Change Persona. The Personas are assigned as Class. How can i add new command to the battle menu which can show up Class menu and allow me to change class for my character? I also use Yanfly Class System, it was said to be compatible with the Battle Command List script but i can't do anything more

basically all regular commands are skills or items.
So unless you want to really reprogram everything, you'll need to provide that function as a skill - probably best as a skill that calls a common event and let the common event handle the changes.

once you have that skill functional, you'll have to handle the timing (by default common events are handled on the end of a turn, but that can be changed with the action sequences) and other effects, but you can come back here for more help when you're there.

Can you teach me how to create this common event skill step by step? I understand the concept but i don't know how to actually do it

you basically make a common event, and then attach it as an effect to the skill.

and the common event is nothing but a show choice asking what class is wished, followed by a change actor class command after that - it should not be difficult unless you're using dozen of actors and dozen of classes, and even then it's more tedious and long than difficult.

I am supposed to be preparing to teach my students this afternoon and tomorrow morning about Refugees, Asylees, and Fraud/Misrepresentation and all I can think about is how to improve my Turn Order display. :stickytongue:

In the end I choose near over shoulder resembles RE4. Tight close window better. The correlation between battleback, monster style and battler should also be observed and merged.

I'm going to see if I can set up a triple booting setup. Windows for standard use & gaming, debian for linux development and manjaro for linux gaming, wine & proton use.
