I Have a Problem with Scripts.

I want to add the Script for Skills level up and Monster HP Bar.

Where exactly and I mean at which position in the Script from the Game I add the New Script in?

I can't find where it is written and want to know and I even don't know if I am right here for that question.

    Skill Lvl:

    HP bar:

    http://pastebin.com/Qj9gAKq9

Passive Skill: (if possible leving these too.)

    http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=qJQxcTdu

    The scripts are looking good.

But I want to know where to put them in

OMG, can you NOT post the same question over and over and over?!

We have a forum called RGSSx Script Support. Clearly you are after support with several scripts, so that would be the right place to post (which is where I've moved this to).

Please spend more time looking through the forum list next time - most are pretty self explanatory if you take a little time to think about it.

Normally, anywhere in the materials section will be fine. The only time this does not work is if one of the authors overwrote a method the others used.

There is a slot in the script list that says this:

    (insert here)

THAT is where you insert your scripts.

    The scripts are not working.

But thanks for the anserws and trying to help me.

    Another question:

Can a NPC check what level your Hero has?

I want him to learn a Ability at a certain level that has nothing to do with his class

For example: He is Fighter level 7 and I want him to learn Heal from a teacher.

At level 6 he can't learn Heal from that teacher.

this Ability is not in his skill list and I don't want to add it there.

I know how he can learn that Ability at Level 1 but that is not what I want.

Then tell us what you did (including screenshots) so we can tell you how to do it correctly - and if you have problems with english, go to one of the German communities for help, for example http://rpgmaker-vx-ace.deĀ
Easily - that is basic eventing
However, you should know that there are no NPCs in any RM game - there are only events pretending to be NPCs.

That is not a simple wording difference, it is the result of the logic structure behind it - and the sooner you learn that, the easier the game developing will get.

In the event pretending to be an NPC-teacher, do the following commands:

    1) control variable : game data : actor #'s : level

    2) conditional branch : variable higher or equal to X

And then in the two branches, you either add text "you cannot learn this yet" (lower than number) or the commands to learn the skill (level high enough)

You can also follow the link in my signature to the sample game and the variables guide, those two games will show you how a lot of the RM structure is done.

Yes of course I know that NPC's are Events pretending.

Will it work when you have a [Yes, No] Event?

    Example:

Do you want to learn a new ability?

    Yes

    1) control variable : game data : actor #'s : levelĀ  = this is easy to be found.
    2) conditional branch : variable higher or equal to X = Where? I don't know where to find it. And please help with a picture I have the German version of the Game. During the install I couldn't choose which language I want to use.

    Learn Ability at level 7

Don't learn because level is not high enough.

    No

    Don't learn.

Okay that worked and everything is beautiful.

I found out how to let him check if the Character knows an ability let him forget the previous one and learn a new one.

Like Slash lvl 1 -> Slash lvl 2

My own way to level abilities. :p

But when it comes to the third.

Slash lvl 2 -> Slash lvl 3 the Game freezes.

And I am not using the A - D switches I used Switched Control.

And named them Slash lvl 1 - Slash lvl 5

How can I upload pictures to my Gallery so I can show you what my Problem is.
