I've seen inventory limit plugins based on weight and ones based on the maximum number of items, but what I want is one that limits how many items of different kinds you can have and how many can be in each stack.

I've seen things like this done with grid systems but it doesn't work with the inventory I have. So I want it in list form.

Something kind of like this where you can hold 10 different items, but of varying limits.

That's a plugin that I've seen already. It limits your max carrying capacity by weight, or by the total number of items.
But like a grid inventory you have a certain number of slots in your bag and items can go into them regardless of how much of that item you have.

Has anyone played homework salesman? They had something like what I want.

@pbjelly246 I've already made a plugin to limit the number you can have of any single item in the game, either by setting up a default in the parameters, or by setting a custom one for a specific item in the database ;) if you need more info on it, or want me to develop it further, just PM me :D

PS: Made it some time ago, so don't hesitate to ask me if you want me to polish it out a bit ^-^

I've seen your plugin as well, but it still only limits the stack size. I need to limit how many stacks of items you can store.

For example. For the some item limit plugins its
10 Potion + 5 Revive + 1 sword = 16 Inventory Space
but I want
10 Potion + 5 Revive + 1 sword = 3 Inventory Space

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is possible with Yanfly's Item core? Maybe?

From what I've seen from Yanfly's item core, correct me if I'm wrong, You can only turn things into individual items that don't stack at all.

Odd. Oh, I must of have forgotten to a couple steps when I was proof reading earlier. Cause for it to work right, you have to use a game variable that is assigned to the item possession count. That variable will be used in the exempt note tag with the minus 1. I'll fix that in the instructions today.

Edit : I fixed the instructions and included an example in the help file.
