Hello, I'm having a problem with an event. When player enters a "ghost" town, iI have the following event for ghosts and fog:

When player gets out for some reason it looks like a ghost, like it's opacity was edited but nothing on the event should touch player.

Is there a way to verify why that is happening?

Please use meaningful titles for your thread - everyone who posts in this section "needs help with an issue".

When you post an image of your event, post the WHOLE image, not just the commands. I can't tell if that is a common event or a map event, if you have multiple tabs, what the conditions are, or what the trigger is.

Are you saying when the player leaves this ghost town map to go to another map, the player is see-through? If so, it's got nothing to do with the event above. You either have an event on the next map that is changing the player's opacity, or the tiles the player is on in the new map are marked with the "bush" flag in the tileset, which means the lower part of the player will be see-through.

If that doesn't help you figure it out, please post a screenshot of the player in the new map so we can see what you mean.

your event is missing too many information to do more than guess, but one possibility is that the fog plugin simulates the fog by turning the player partially transparent.

you'll have to provide links to the plugin and post the full event screenshot (no cutting off the properties and giving only half the event, because the content is only half)

interesting theory. The easy way to test that would be to remove the plugin calls.

I'm sorry about the missing information and the title... I know how to be more informative now.

Actually was my fault, in one of the Ghosts i put player instead of ghost... so is fixed.

But your screenshot said Ghost in all 4 move routes. Unless there were more you didn't show.

Anyway, as your issue is fixed ...

This could probably be an entire thread, but it’s really interesting how replaying a game several years later can change how you relate to a character. I think Tidus from FFX got such a bad rap. I getchu. Completely different reaction as an adult now.
As you see, I still enjoy writing tutorials. Is there anything specific you want to see? (I know mapping and editing/resource making is usually popular, but those are very broad topics)
Well, I wanted to expand player battlers visually and now have 3 sheets and counting for each of my players party.
1. Regular sheet
2. The character has turned stone sheet.
3. Using potions sheet.

Technically the main hero has 4 since he starts with a wooden sword, and I felt that the battler should reflect that until he gets a metal one.

Right back to the RM game dev grind in about 15 minutes. :LZSexcite:
Days ago I gave someone the sage advice not to steer away from your main project or take up another one to abandon the first. After figuring a way that would save me years of development, I am forced to redo a lot of stuff on my own turf, near to remake half of what I have already made.
Somewhere down the line I must have crossed paths with bad karma.
