Need Tag Team Combo Skills For Symphony

its better to request this directly to yami (as add on). since that feature is quite hard to script. so the best person to create this is the one who understand the symphony the most (a.k.a the creator :D )

and victor cooperation skill will NEVER be working with yami's symphony. since the script written 'BASED' on victor animated battle. so it won't be working for another battle system. except someone REWRITE the whole mechanism. :D . (means new script btw).

Go to Syphony thread or symphoria site and you will see that Yami is working under comission right now.

She told to ShinGamix that she will do it for 500$ haha

lol. sorry. i didn't know. some turn around way to make 'cooperation' skill maybe utilizing force action. but need code to skip actor selection when actor included in 'cooperation skill'. and code to disable skill when all actor needed not available (not input command yet). but of course it would be two separate skill animation. maybe you could trick it by chaining with other force action.

ex:

actor 1 use unite1.
this made actor 1 force action skill 1 and actor 2 force action skill 2 (also make the skill speed fastest (+2000) to avoid cutted in the middle)

then actor 1 do skill 1 (animation but don't make him return position - i don't know does symphony able to do that)

actor 2 do skill 2 (also same with skill 1. but skill 2 have code to make actor 1 to force action skill 3)

actor 1 do skill 3 (return to position. have code to make actor 2 force action skill 4)

actor 2 do skill 4 (return to position)

i think it might be easier than code the whole 'cooperation' animation like victor script. not to mention it might used with another battle system. (since utilize force action)

but this just my suggestion. also might have some problem.

I also would like to have this on Symphony. Ramiro made one for his SBS but he dropped support for everything long ago.

Short? A lot of scripts I write are 100 lines.


A script doesn't need to be long to accomplish something specific.


The script probably doesn't have any sort of condition checks beyond whether all battlers are present when one battler is executing an action.

no he doesn't have that. and since he's not active anymore... no new scripts from him either.

IIRC I made this kind of commission for someone. Intend to update Symphony in near future, but dunno if I would do this or not.

I only had time to add it to my project to test. I still have to set up the notetags and comments.

and now I have to go to work so I dont have time to finish testing it as of yet.

DoubleX commented that his might have compatibility issues with varying scripts, since it's new I think it's still being tested.

I'm currently playing with it and it's notetags to see if it all runs smoothly and as instructed.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
