I inevitably start to edit the assets whenever working on a project, so I thought it was a good idea to share them with everyone.
So… Here’s what can be shared. A mix of clumping/rearranging, Recolors, Frankensteining, and other edits. Won’t include those too specific/non-versatile to share, and others are not allowed due to original artist’s wishes.
More will likely come as I continue to work on various projects. (I already have something in progress no doubt)

I’d appreciate any feedback regarding my mistakes, possible improvements, etc.

World (Field type):

These first two are mostly a subtle darkening/contrasting, though A2 has some more involved re-colors and editing in the form of the dark green hills (fits the dark grass) and the two forms of the green mountains (one is slightly taller then the other)

Outside (Area type):

Bunches of stuff here, Including my own darker RTP grass with water. There’s a several special Autotiles that are meant to be used together with the originals and must be placed with shift-mapping.

(Sha just has a custom Shadow, Spe has most custom shadowing and the two edging for the special waterfall on the top right—the bluer one is with original rtp, the other with my recolored one.)

Also have two versions of the ‘port’ auto-tile with a different stone then the original, and the ‘alt’ where you can see the brick just under the water-level a tad.
Finally there’s the two edges for waterfall transitions the one on the left is for the top, the right for the bottom.

My darker rtp grass and dirt (Still don’t like the rtp dirt though) various edits for cobblestone, a larger road edging and grass edging.

Not much here, Slightly taller stubs on the castle tops, and recolors of walls and the aforementioned castle top

Bunches of random edits including more flowers for windows, Barred windows, opened flaps versions, taller RTP tree and dead version. Recolored Barricade, blue banners, recolored towers, etc…

B-E (Decor):

All three of these waterfall edits are intended to be used alongside the special autotile waterfall edit from A1.

Here’s some new windows I edited. Including new ‘cursor’, backgrounds, color, and styles. (If you want a different combination, I recommend using Gimp or other image editor to just Cut-and-Paste what you like.)

Here’s some edits of some assets from an Enterbrain game ‘Abyss Diver’

I took the original pipe and tried to expand it… Hopefully looks good. (I’ve included various shadowing as well)
I might try to revisit these someday and improve the shine specifically...

B-E (Decor):

WARNING: I’m not sure about commercial usage for these, though others claim they’re free for any use whenever they’ve edited the original ‘Abyss Diver’ assets

just when I thought one of the greatest game of all time couldn't get any better, they announce a new dlc for it.

Turning a specific vibe into reality is incredibly difficult. For instance, this song is one of the ones I listen to when working on my post apocalyptic project, and getting it's "feeling" into the game has been a real challenge.

I don't just wanna regurgitate the numbers I see, I wanna actually understand the calculations I'm making so I'm probably gonna make a post later with some calculations and what I THINK they mean to get some advice and corrections.

Edit: All (Most) of these will be tested in game prior. I just wanna make sure I understand what's going on under the hood if you will.
my girlfriend calls all my little chibi art cute lol... funny considering that wasn't the original art style of the game.
