This game is still Highly under development, but I've decided to release a very small demo showing what i have so far.





an open world rpg where mages combine runes called Xymbols. These mages are known as Xymbologists. you begin as a novice where you learn to become a Xymbologist that will choose to Become a loyal Xymbologist of the Order of Xym, or Embrace the evil of The Rogue Nation.

The key features on full release.

  • Start as a novice then branch into 6 other mage classes.
  • 4 kingdoms to explore. Aeostora the surface kingdom, Oceara the sea kingdom, Garuheim the sky kingdom. and the mysterious hidden kingdom, Nevaryth.
  • Create Spells by using Xymbols. Different spells in different order creates an all new spell
  • 2 separate stories. Official and Rogue(Good and Evil) choose wisely for this will be your destiny, as well as your fate.
  • much much more.

this is a Novice Xymbologist, learning to master the art of Xymbology


Official(left) Rogue(right)












1. Red Xymbologist: The most balanced and the most popular in the Aeostoras Capital of Gran Vaolys. They are used to Raid Dungeons
2. Blue Xymbologist: Founded by the The King of Al Terzech to stop the Terzech Uprising. Used as bounty hunter to hunt Criminals
3. Green Xymbologist: In tune with Nature and can be found in the Forest of Centoria. Used to make Items and medicines
4. Brown Xymbologist: Near the Sands of Terzech is the Rocky Wastlands of Raga, where Xymbologist Gladiators duel for honor. used for Bodyguards and the Ragar Arena
5 .Black Xymbologist: in the Snowy Mountains of Ishtoras are Hunters of evil creatures. used to Hunt Monsters to cull the monster population
6.White XYmbologist: Xymbologists of Oceara, the only Xymbologist class that isn't native to Aeostra. used for exorcising demons and exploring

There's gotta be an overarching plot/conflict rite, I'm wondering about that, I know it's very early to tell, maybe, but would you like to tell us about it? Aha


File size is OVEERRR NINNEE THOUSSSAANNNNNDDD, but seriously 1GB download and my mobile quota would be drained to the last molecular byte. xD


I'll keep an eye on this project, whenever I'm able to, I'll download it and playtest it and will letcha know what I think of it.

I LOVE IT!!!!! The characters are so cute! The graphics are so pretty! Those battles look so awesome! Please don't think I'm just overexerting this, I really like it!

keep in mind not to expect much from the demo, after all its a tech demo.

Okay. Is the tech demo consist of basic exploration and combat system only?

Update: I plan on releasing a real demo sometime in the future with small quests and a couple other features

  UPDATE: I have some house tiles done below





each monster has a stronger variant to itself, and i don't mean change its hue either





these monsters are more powerful than the original, and harder to defeat or tame.

The game logo is really cool. I like the features, the mage classes look interesting and I appreciate their concept, too. I'm waiting to see more, good luck for the development!

hey guys I'm putting a temporary halt to Nevaryth. Ive decided to work on a much smaller project. I do however intend to finish this project due to the amount of money,time and effort put into this. so stay tuned

Blue Xymbologist(rogue)

if you become rogue then you are exiled from the main cities and bounty hunters including Xymbologists will hunt you. however there are safe havens for criminals such as Bandit outposts, certain cities, etc.

Guilds
Guilds have two different categories, Official and Rogue. to put it simply good and evil guilds. Guilds also have sub categories so it would be what your guild specializes in. Official guilds can be
  • Dungeon Running
  • Bounty hunting
  • Crafting
  • trading
  • Honorable dueling
  • Monster hunting
Rogue guilds can
  • Assassination
  • Contraband Crafter
  • Contraband Dealer(basiclly a drug cartel)
  • Capturing innocents
  • Arena
so that is a breakdown of guilds for you guys

tyvm all the artwork was done by eadgear so alot of the credit (or most of it) goes to him. without him this project would to cease to exist
