Good morning, Rpg Makers!

First of all, I'm sorry for any linguistic error, English is not my native language.

So some of you must have played Tibia already, right? Well, for those who don't know, Tibia is a really cool game. I used to create otservers to play with my friends. Anyway, these days give me an idea, use Tibia sprites in RPG Maker.

But the first difficulty I encountered was: In Tibia, some types of terrain consist of 4x4 sprites (16 sprites). As below:

That is 16 sprites.

Is there any possibility of turning the existing A2 autotitle into something capable of doing this?

For example, the same way we use the autotile A2, and it does all that division of land ... Because I have to put 2x2 sprites, but in the game, it's weird, it's not the same patterns, you Know?

I would like for example, if placing a 4x4 terrain would show the exact 4x4s of the spriteset, or for example a 4x8 ground would show the set of 16 sprites side by side ... did it make sense?

Hope this is possible, Thank you for your attention. If I have not made sense, I will try to explain the idea better.

EDIT:

I had another idea, and if each of these sprites had a file of 4x4 sprites inside a folder, when placed on the map, they would draw these 4x4 if the terrain has 4x4, it would be like "a texture" something like that ...

I use 32x32 pixel tile, not 48x48.

You might be able to update the Javascript code to draw tiles a certain way but you are not able to change the editor, so it will not appear how you want it when placing the tiles. That could make it very difficult to create maps.

I strongly suggest you search the official blog for a topic called "anatomy of an autotile" to learn how an autotile really works, and for a forum tutorial about "shift mapping" to learn how to use all options of the autotiles.

because as said above, you can't change how the editor works - and you don't need that change to 4x4 sprites at all to use the autotiles for combinations if you understand how to use them.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
