‍This week we’re focusing on fights! Give your battles an out of this world backdrop with Aethereal Planes Battlebacks and sweep your enemies away with new water-based animations thanks to Animations Select - Water!

Bring your battles to a whole new universe with Aethereal Planes Battlebacks! Joel Steudler has crafted a selection of battlebacks that could fit into sci-fi and fantasy games alike. Focusing on swirling colors and evocative shapes, this pack contains 16 breathtaking battlebacks1s and 13 battlebacks2s that can be mixed and matched to create tons of battle possibilities!

Send your fantasy heroes into battles in magical realms where hunks of earth float under your heroes feet and the world around them is a twisting mass of green and blue-tinged magic. Or bring your cyberspace battlefield to life with a spiral of jagged scales while a translucent grid is all that keeps your heroes from falling into nothingness. Have your heroes stand tall on rushing water, boiling lava, or even a hovering stone path as they face off against their foes. Make sure to pick the perfect backdrop for your enemies, so give your volcano-themed villain a fiery battleback full of burning trails and harsh angles, or your computer virus foe a high-tech battlefield where the eye of the internet watches over all.

Each battleback comes sized for both Ace and MZ games, along with high-res and 16:9 versions ready to be used as backgrounds in your visual novels or cutscenes! This pack also includes a bonus song themed around wandering an unknown place. Take your battles to the next plane of existence with Aethereal Planes Battlebacks today!

Get ready to take your battles to the beach, because Animations Select - Water is here! Dream Circle’s newest pack brings us 10 incredible water-themed battle animations for MV to make our skills really create a splash. With animations focusing on single targets along with full screen storms, this pack contains enough options to make your enemies wish they had a boat!

Give your mages more impressive spells by showing them strike your enemy with a wave of water or summon a swirling sphere of bubbles that burst on impact. Confuse your targets with whirlpools and give them a surprise blast to the face with erupting geysers, and if they’re still standing then sweep them away with a maelstrom that fills the battlefield with a churning flood! Your heroes aren’t the only ones who can benefit from these animations though, so make sure they can swim before sending them against a naiad’s dangerous vortex or a sea monster’s deluge.

Each animation sheet comes with a 30fps and 60fps version so you choose the perfect version to fit your game. And to make it even easier, this pack includes an MV project with the animations already good to go so it’s simple to slip these animations right into your game! So pick up Animations Select - Water today and let your players strike their enemies with Posiden’s fury!

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
