It's Golden Week in Japan, RPG Maker is on sale on the Degica Shop and on Steam, and we have two new and amazing packs for you! All in all, it's a good release day!
Get your gear ready, adventurer, we are going on a journey! You better bring some sun protection, a handful of torches and a lot of water, cause you're gonna need it!
First Seed Materials newest addition brings you straight into a beautiful and mysterious desert environment, filled with all the locations you could have ever asked for. Your heroes might start their adventure at a town by the river that brings some life to those barren lands - maybe fortified against bandits, but due to its location a vivid trading post with lots of goods to find!
Or maybe the first thing they find is what could happen to such a town if the river dries out - a lost and lonely set of ruins with broken buildings filled with nothing but sand. But they should not forget why they came here first - to find the ancient temple they heard about… it has to be out there, somewhere..
All these settings - interior and exterior - and more are possible with this pack. The tiles are versatile and First Seed Materials also included an extensive demo with example maps to explore and get inspiration from!
To have your players get better immersion into maps made with these tiles, there is also a whopping 20 matching tracks included that catch the vibe of the desert perfectly - allowing you to create a whole new region in your game without having to look for anything additional.
On top of the immersion of the fantastic tiles and music, the characters folder is bursting with animated objects that make for great gameplay features or details. You need to block off a region? There is a beautiful tornado that will do just that! And let us not forget about all the treasures the desert might have… there are hidden in six unique chests, all with several “inside” options and a broken version!
And while deserts are not best known for their water, there are several options to add fountains and other beautiful animated water objects to your oasis or river town.
All the graphics in this set come as a regular version and also a recolored night version.
