Since the "New Themes" is catching up on my previous poll, I thought I'd make another poll to see which new theme(s) sound the most appealing to you.

    Two things to note, please:

    1) I'm not guaranteeing that any of these themes will get done, so please don't take this as a concrete confirmation of a release. I still don't know exactly how much time I'll have to work on a pack and which pack will be my priority.

    2) I have a very long list of all the themes, concepts and ideas I want to make happen. The 7 themes in this poll are just a small selection of themes I have in mind. So, don't be disappointed if something you want/need isn't on the list. I've likely thought of it already and might make it some time down the line.

With that out of the way...

I had 2 criteria for this theme list. First is that it sounded interesting to work on. Second is that I had a good selection of reference material in my folders.

You can choose multiple themes if more than one sound interesting (hopefully not everyone will choose every theme XD), and - as always - I would appreciate any comments telling me why you chose a particular theme or set of themes.

    Thank you! :D

    Victorian. Because, Victorian.

In all seriousness, because I think Victorian designs and architectures can help round out a number of themes. The obvious being, the time period itself. But also because many modern towns still have loads of the architecture in their homes and downtowns. My hometown and the city I currently live in have several Victorian homes and store fronts standing, so I think Victorian elements also capture the character of many modern settings, too. Also, it compliments Steam Punk and several other fantasy flavors that aren't set in those vaguely Medieval times.

So, I've chosen Seasonal Town because I love to see the time flowing with the trees changing their colores and the snow falling in winter. Aww! *__* So adorable! :3

    Seasonal!

I like time to actually move in games.

A fairy fantasy dwelling (or underwater one) would be neat to.

I actually love all of these ideas, which made this very difficult.  I went with Noir as that genre is a favorite of mine and could definitely use some resources.

I chose scifi and ruins, because those would be the most useful to me in my current and planned projects.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be serious or sarcastic, but yes, actually, there's a lack of specialized structures -- particularly some of the more specialized buildings or fitting a particular fantasy race. I only know of a handful of resources that would fit that category, and none are quite like what I had in mind.

Here's a couple of examples of my references:

The fantasy dwellings was my second choice for that reason, Lunarea. My fantasy persuasion tends to veer toward fairies, elves, and all those other fantastic creatures. I love the non traditional homes and otherworldly nature. I think that pack could be seriously gorgeous.

I agree with everything Ms. Littlefish has said in this thread.  She says what I would have said if I were faster. :D

The RPG-Maker game I am working on is fantasy themed and would benefit the most from fantasy dwellings (especially since I have a Wood Elfish settlement (Mariawichteldorf) to create which I have no idea how to start and a famous Orc Fortress in the Orc Valley which looks rather like a human fortress), so the sarcasm was a joke about my vote than the topic. But I should stop trying to make jokes in a language I don't master. So please don't let my comments demotivate you, I will enjoy and use/get ideas from any content you provide!

I actually think we as a community need more dungeon customizables and uniques!  I find sets lacking when it comes to dungeons.

I voted for vintage-noir in the choices because there isn't much of that around anywhere.

Dungeons aren't on this list because it's one of the options in the other poll (winning option, for that matter). :)

I voted Sci-fi, because it fits the setting of my game, so it would be useful for me :D In addition, the seasonal sounds very nice, giving nice variations to places, and the ruins are also nice because people tend to... destroy things.

But yes, your poll was hard, because at first I wanted to vote for everything :p

Even Jackson Pollock? (I swear I would seriously adore anyone who attempts to make a tileset in that style)
